"Peaceful, luxury in the coastal bush with wild animals roaming around"
"The cottages are beautifully designed, very private and tastefully furnished. This was our fourth visit to Toad Tree Lodge. Need we say more?"
"Accommodation was superb, view and the walks all fantastic.Very well equipped, and the peace and tranquility. Our water in Leopard Lodge was lukewarm, we would have liked hot water."
"3 days here was just not enough for us. The hospitality was out of this world and the bush was so beautiful and peaceful. We were graced by the presence of red duikers in the early morning and Bush babies at night. What a magical place!!! I highly recommend this to anyone who loves the bush thank you for an absolutely magical stay!!!"
"Everything was fantastic the staff the accommodation the walking trails"
"If you just wanted to get away from it all, this is it! Privacy in a great location. Close enough to other attractions."
"We loved our stay in the Leopard lodge. Jacuzzi bath was a definite highlight, as well as the cute bushbabies that visit at night. Perfect place for a relaxing/romantic holiday away."
"We loved everything about this lodge from the spacious comfortable cottage to all the animals that visited us and the walks we could take around the reserve. We also loved that it was close to Hluhluwe Game Reserve which is one of our favourite places to visit! We will definitely be back!"
"Very relaxing. Good break away from the "rat race""
"We had a very relaxing time. The animals that were in the park were amazing and almost fearless of us. The Bush Babies were the cutest things ever, so advice is to bring lots of bananas. (They also eat apples) One suggestion is to include a list of the various resorts next to the Kuleni sign."
"We stayed for a total of 7 nights with a break for 2 days at the Leopard Lodge. We can say the lodge exceeded our expectations. Great facilities, very clean, very attentive and nice manager and staff. Very fair value for money. We have seen many animals at the lodge, even shy Nyala come to drink to the birdcocks - if you are quiet. Every evening up to 5 Galagos with much hunger on banana and Warthogmama with the children come to sleep under the wooden deck ........The park can be well maintained, there are many trails, we have giraffes, Blu wildebeast, Nyala, Zebra can be observed at close range, - try the time in another park! Finally, we can say the best accommodation we have booked on our trips to southern Africa, thank you very much!Heike and Frank Reichel from Germany"
"Very comfortable and quiet. Everything you need for self catering. Lots of birds, nice walks in the forrest."
"We had a lovely family getaway at Toad Tree Lodge (Cheetah lodge). The accommodation was very comfortable in a beautiful setting. It was sad seeing the bush so dry, but we still saw plenty of animals including giraffe, red duiker, nyala, warthogs and bushbabies all from the deck. The lodge is conveniently situated about 15 minutes from Hluhluwe so there is plenty to do."
"This lodge was a haven of tranquillity. We had fantastic moments where animals and birds were very close to us. Adored the bushbaby especially who came to eat pieces of banana on the porch in the evenings. Beautifully decorated and serviced lodge for two people. Thoroughly recommend. Best sightings for us were on the open areas of the Eagle walk.<br />"
"We had a lovely stay. Beautiful and relaxing. Beds comfortable and everything you need out of a self catering unit. We would definitely like to go back. Only down side is that we couldn't stay longer.."
"Passed and exceeded all expectations, stunning lodge and perfect for our 2 year old toddler to enjoy. Really well kitted out with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Bush babies came for a visit at night and warthogs in the morning. Very peaceful, only downside is that we should have spent the week rather than a night. Will definitely visit again."
"What a superb destination! The wild life visited (giraffe, nyala, warthogs, scorpions, strange looking insects) & even the nagaapie paid us a visit while we relaxed around the boma enjoying our braais. Our family from America were blown away by the beauty of the reserve & the stunning home. Highly recommended!<br />"
"We had a wonderful time at the Leopard Lodge in Toad Tree. The wild dog annex is fantastic and a good addition to this lodge. The staff are amazing and the facilities very good. The only issue we had is the bad lighting in the rooms and kitchen, could do with stronger bulbs maybe. Thanks."
"We all had a super couple of days in Leopard Lodge. A great first time 'safari' for my five year old who adored the visiting bush babies, friendly warthogs and the amazing afternoon visits from the giraffes. The lodge is well equipped, the housekeeping of a high standard and lovely to be able to try out the trails safely on foot with little ones in tow!"
"Cheetah Lodge offers very comfortable, roomy, well appointed accommodaion and catered for all our needs. It has a lovely, tranquil setting in Kuleni Game Park, where you can relax and unwind in relative seclusion."
"Had such a fantastic time at Toad Tree. Very well equipped with friendly staff. Had a visiting Giraffe and Kudu over NYE."
"What a spectacular little piece of heaven! Leopard Chalet was so beautiful, well decorated, and perfect for my little family. I cannot wait to come back."

"What a wonderful week. just what we needed to relax, the lodge was so well equipped Pat did not even leave the lodge for the first three days, between the jacuzzi bath, the outdoor shower and swimming pool all close at hand, why move when you can watch the buck and waterhogs from the pool and the birds defending their birdbatch when the monkeys try to drink from it. In the evening we would put out banana for the bushbabies although we did not see them we heard them, in the morning the left over banana was fed to the stag horn fern and this seemed to grow a couple of leaves while we where there. Eddie, Winson and Calvin found everything close at hand diving, fishing and of course airtime was to far, so there were in contact with there mates all the time. Thank you for a wonderful week"
