Nestled between the majestic Drakensberg Mountains and the sparkling clear waters of the Blyde River, Blyde River Canyon Lodge offers local and international travellers a unique bush experience. The lodge is set in an 85 hectare botanical reserve which boasts a wealth of fauna and flora. Not only is the Blyde River Canyon Lodge a unique holiday experience, but it is also a home away from home for many astute and professional businessmen and women, who make our lodge their regular place to stay whilst doing business in the area.
Blyde River Canyon Lodge is situated along the scenic Panorama Route in the Blyde River Canyon of the Mpumalanga/Limpopo Province. It is easily accessible to the Bourkes Luck Potholes, Three Rondawels, Gods Window and various waterfalls, and only a 40 minute drive to the Kruger National Park's Orpen Gate. The lodge is also rated 4 Star Superior by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, boasting excellent comfort and quality with a high standard of furnishings, service, and guest care.
Accommodation comprises of six double/twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and one en-suite Honeymoon Suite. We also have a luxury cottage with two en-suite bedrooms. All rooms are tastefully furnished, fully air-conditioned, and are equipped with a satellite TV, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Each room leads out onto the tranquil gardens where zebra and wildebeest wander by.
A blend of Victorian and African decor compliments the beauty and majesty of 900 year old Jackelberry trees, whose shade cascades over the pristine lawn areas. Full English breakfasts are served daily, and delicious country cuisine is available on request for lunch and dinner.

02 November 2016"The Luxury Cottage was ok (for the high price!). But at checkout we was really worse about the price for the diner - R1422 for 2 very basic diner for 2 persons with 1 beer and 1 cider!! Never happened to us before in 15 years travelling to Southafrica! That's rip-off - shame ..."

14 September 2016"We spent 3 nights at Blyde River Canyon Lodge, staff were exceptional, always there for our every need. Delicious meals, both breakfast and dinner. The lodge couldn't have a more tranquil setting, gorgeous mountains at the back, river in the front and lovely big lawns, zebra, impala and more stroll leisurely around...also, they were very helpful with advise on places to visit in the vicinity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
