Hole in Wall Self-catering

Welcome to a holiday in paradise. Hole in Wall Self-catering is surrounded by miles of unspoiled coastline that offer some of the most beautiful scenery in South Africa.

Set in a secluded tropical bay in the heart of the Wild Coast, the three chalets accommodate guests in comfortable units with each containing a spacious open-plan living area with a kitchen nook and a sunlit lounge.

The setting is serene and there is plenty to keep the visitor busy. The entertainment village has a swimming pool and a play area complete with a trampoline, swings and a model boat which will keep the children occupied for hours. For adults, there is a ladies bar which is open until late, as well as pool tables and an outside deck where one can relax and watch the sunset over the sea.

Home in the Wild Coast, Hole in Wall Self-catering is the ideal setting for those who just want to get away from it all.

  • "Seeing the iconic landmark of Hole In The Wall."

    17 July 2017

"Very friendly staff. We were made to feel at home from the start. We love the Wild Coast vibe and understand at the price the accommodation cannot be 5 star but there comes a time when every hospitality establishment needs to be refreshed. Unit 18 has reached this point. Please Mr. Lang can you just give your cottage the revamp it deserves. Some stools around the counter and new (or even repainted in part) indoor and outdoor furniture, bedding and softs would be appreciated."

  • "Perfect Transkei Getaway"

    27 July 2015

"We stayed in one of the Self Catering Cottages which was more than adequate and had everything we needed. The Hole in the Wall Hotel staff were amazing and helped us out with everything! They made us feel so welcome! The Manageress, Lynne was so lovely and even sent some of her staff after us to ensure that we left the area safely as the roads were pretty awful on the day we left because of the rain! We had a truly wonderful time in this beautiful area!"

  • "Chalet H 2"

    03 April 2013

"Hi, We did not enjoy our stay in Chalet No. H2, The directions was bad, No markings at all so we can identify the chalet. The gate was seized and needed 4 people to reset it on the rails in order to open and shut the gate. the windows were either seized open and some were seized shut. The water just runs out while in the shower. every member of family were bitten by some bug during the night. The oven did not work properly and although I reported it immediately to reception no one attended to the oven in the 5 days we were there. The Chalet is not a preference for us. Kind Regards. Dan Moodley"
