Guadeloupe Self Catering Cottages & Apartments

Centrally located, a mere 2.5 kms from the town centre, Guadeloupe self catering establishment is situated on a hilltop overlooking the famed Knysna Lagoon. Its special location gives the visitor the feeling of being in the countryside, with wonderful views onto the Knysna Lagoon.

Two fully equipped self catering cottages, as well as four modern, stylish and upmarket apartments also completely equipped for self catering all four apartments and the top cottage look directly down onto the Lagoon. Situated in a quiet cul de sac where there is no passing traffic is definitely a plus.

The apartments are built loft style i.e the first bedroom is upstairs on a mezzanine floor with large windows which face directly onto the Lagoon. The upstairs bedrooms in each unit have an en suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The downstairs bedrooms have a bathroom with a toilet and bath; bathrooms with a bath have pull-out wash lines over the bath, and all bathrooms have heated towel rails for the Winter months.

All units, including the two cottages have a balcony with patio furniture and a Weber BBQ on each . All the apartment balconies have marvelous views onto the Knysna lagoon.

All units ( including the two cottages ) , are fully equipped for self catering with hairdryers, fans, heaters, wall safes and filter coffee machines.

Linen and towels are changed regularly and units are serviced daily.

There is an on-premises laundry service all laundry is left in the bath and is removed by the cleaning staff where it is then washed and/or ironed as requested.

Safe on-premises parking each unit comes with an automatic gate control.

Nine meter swimming pool on the premises for use by our guests.

There is a cookery school on the premises as well ideal for spouses who are abandoned for the golf course spend an entertaining and informative morning in the cookery school, and take an entire meal back with you !

You Look, We Cook evenings every Wednesday evening commencing at 7.00 pm come and watch Albin & Jenny prepare a mouth watering three course meal, with a pre-dinner shooter of gin, strawberries and lavenderloads of fun and good food!

    "We had a good stay in our lovely clean apartment. With the bad weather we settled into the lounge and cozied up with the blankets and flicked between the lovely view and the Baby Boks win on the DSTV supplied. It was so nice to have 2 separate sleeping rooms and 2 bathrooms, not to mention electric blankets, heated towel rails and did I mention clean!The hosts were tentative but not overbearing, definitely recommend a stay at this well kept quiet establishment."

    "I can't recommend the Guedeloupe Apartments enough! We had a fantastic time in Knysna - made even better by staying here. The web site is extremely accurate, we stayed in 'The Bright House' which had beautiful views of the Knysna Lagoon. The apartment was very stylish & comfortable & our hosts Jenny & Albin made us feel very welcome - we couldn't have asked for more. You would be crazy to pass up on an opportunity to experience this accomodation if you are visiting Knysna!"
