Swartberg Street Guest House is situated in the charming little town of Laingsburg, a year-round holiday destination set between rugged hills and vast plains.We offer five fully furnished self-catering units ranging in size. The units are equipped with comfortable double- or single beds, kitchens, lounge areas with DStv and braai facilities. All bed linen and towels are provided. This friendly town is located at the gateway to the Great Karoo, offering proud tradition of old-fashioned hospitality. This is the perfect place to just relax and get away from the busy city life. There are some tourist attractions to explore, such as our Flood Museum and artwork remembering the 1981 flood.Our monthly farmers market is definitely a place to be, held on every last Saturday morning of the month. The products range from freshly baked goodies, meat, meals prepared for the freezer as well as flowers and crafts.Meals are available at Herambi Guest House and should be booked prior to arrival with the establishment.Breakfast is available as an optional extra for R125.00 per person.Lunch-packs are available as an optional extra for R125.00 per person.A 3-course dinner with juice is available as an optional extra for R195.00 per person.Reception is open 24 hours a day. Office hours are from 07:00 to 21:00, after that the night-guard will be available to check guests in.Please note all check-ins are to be done at Herambi Guest House.

"The flat was clean & well equipped. The toilet bowl needs rewamp & a shelf is needed in the shower because it's not comfortable to put your soap.& shampoo on the floor. Otherwise we had an awesome stay & will definitely come back again."

Twee van die vyf koffiebekers was gekraaken het 'n "chip" gehad. Daar was geen ander bekers en moes ons maardaaruit drink wat onaangenaam was.<o:p></o:p>Die een kamer se bedliggies het glad nie gewerk nie, want dieverlengkoord werk nie. <o:p></o:p>Everything was nice and clean.Two of the five cups were cracked and one had a chip. There were no other cups and we had to drinkout of it, which wasnt very pleasant.One of the rooms bedlights did not work as the extension cord was notworking.<o:p></o:p>"

"I booked this for my son and daughter in law - paid the deposit online and paid the balance direct to Swartberg Guest House - attention Annarene Theron. I received confirmation of payment. On arrival my daughter in law was told there was an outstanding amount owing, she told them that she had been told it was paid in full but whoever checked them in insisted there was an amount outstanding. My son phoned me and fortunately I had given him all the back up papers showing deposit and final payments being paid, and confirmation from Swartberg. Only when my son showed them the paper work did the person confirm that all was in order. I find this unacceptable and unprofessional - that put a total damper on their stay."
