  "I am very disapointed in the cleaniness of Rosebud. Van die kombuis tot die stort. Die vorige gaste se eiergeel het nog op die tafel gele. Broodkrummels en vullis le oral op die vloer. Die vadoeke het my naar gemaak. Ek het in my lewe nog nooit sulke vuil vadoeke gesien nie. Gelukkig is daar naby n Pep Stores en kon ek gaan koop. Daar is geen skoonmaakmiddels of skottelgoedseep nie. Die stort is so vuil dat ek en my gesin met plakkies moes stort..Beddegoed is deur gewas en dun gele. Dit is nie in my aard om te kla nie,maar die was regtig vir my n groot teleurstelling en n jammerte,want Rosebud is lekker ruim en goed gelee. As dit net meer netjies is,kan dit n baie nice plekkie wees...maar nee dankie,op die stadium sal ek dit beslis nie aanbeveel nie."

  "THE OWNER THERE IS DOEING BOOKINGS THROUGH HIMSELF AND THROUGH SAFARI KNOW.NOVEMBER 2017 I CALLED HIM AND ASK HIM IS MY BOOKING STIL WRIGHT. HE STRUGGLE AND ASK WHO AM I .HE WAS SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHO I WERE.THEN I START TO WORRY HE SAID ITS WRIGHT I CAN COME. IWERE WORRIED A LITTLE BID. I WAS BOOKED FOR THE 23 DESEMBER 2017. I PHONED HIM ON THE 21 OF DES. HE SAID WHO AM I . I SAID WHO AND WHY DONT YOU KNOW WHO IS BOOKED IN YOUR HOUSES. HE SAID ITS WRIGHT.I ARRIVED ON 23 DES. HE SAID HE OVERBOOKED MY PLASE I HAVE TO STAY IN HIS HOUSE FOR 3 DAYS AND THEN I CAN MOVE INTO THE PLASE I BOOKED IN FOR THE 23. I WERE FURIOS.I ASK HIM HOWCAN HE BOOKED PLACEC AND TWENTY FOUR BOOKED MY PLACE.HIS PLACE IS NOT ON STANDRD TO STAY IN .HIS HOUSE BEDDING IS OLD AND HIS HOUSE ARE NOT VERY CLEAN. IF I DIDNT STAY SO FAR I WHOULD HAVE COME BACK STRAIGHT BACK HOME AND CONFIRM WITH MY LOIRSTHAT HE GAVE MY MONY BACK.WHEN PEOPLE ARE CHECKING OUT OF HIS FLATS HE DOESNT HAVE PEOPLE WHO IS CLEANING THE PLASES PROPERLY. HIS BEDDING ISNT FRESH HIS KETTLE ARE BLACK INSIDE OF BACTERIA.ROSE BUD WIL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN AND I WILL NOT EVER SAY TO ANYBODY TO GO AND STAY THERE. WHAT HAPPEND IF WE WERE 4 PEOPLE.WHERE WOULD THE OTHER 2 PERSONS STAY FOR THE FIRST 3 DAYS.WHEN PEOPLE BOOKED OUT YOU MUST PROPERLY CLEAN THE BATHROOM ,TILES ,SHOWERS AND TOILETS SO IT MUST BE HIGIENLY CLEAN.HE MUST UPGRADE HIS BEDDING AND HIS FORKS AND SOME CUTLERY.OTHERWISE THE STAY AND VIEW WERE OLRAAIT.THANK YOU."

  "Nice place to stay. Need some TLC and new linen ext. Only the necessary utensils. No egg lifter. We purchased a new braai sif. The one on the braaier was like in 1000 years old."

  "We just spent one night at Rosebud on our way to Britstown. We arrived at night and since we were lost the host came by car to find us and show us the way. The place was cute, very good for its price; from the balcony you can see the sea."

  "The owner was friendly and helpful. We had a 2 bedroom upstairs flat which had ample space with a distant view of the sea over the rusty roofs of the neighbours. The furniture and bedding were odds and ends from another era. The kitchen cupboards were homemade and had a musty smell and the cutlery and crockery should be replaced. As a result, we were put off wanting to use any of them or do any self catering. The one and only Spar at Lamberts Bay does not have all the essential items and even the bread was stale."
