Xamarin Guest Farm

Nestled between the vineyards of the Sir Lamberts Wines, Xamarin Guest Farm enjoys a warm blend of the rich Nama soil, the basking African sun and a cool ocean breeze.

Once upon a time, wild animals roamed the surrounding hills and plains of the Panorama Park Nature Reserve, today, many species of fauna and indigenous flora still add to the unique character of this area.

Accommodation is rustic, old school and more importantly reliable. Bring along your family and friends to enjoy not only the warm accommodation, but the indigenous terrain in which it lies.

Xamarins unqiue wine labels are adorned with oranges, yellows and reds that each tell the story of the soil and the sun, the famous Namaqualand flowers, the autumn vineyards, and the traditional fires made by the Bushmen of this region.

Please note that the Private Bushcamp is strictly 4x4. It is an outdoor camp style accommodation.

  • "Swak kommunikasie"

"&nbsp;Ons was baie teleurgesteld oor ons ontvangs by Xamarin. <br />"

"Great people, very nice location, good service."

  • "Peacock Cottage"

    07 January 2014

"The Cottage was comfortable, but the peacocks were something else with all the noise, did make sleeping a bit of a challenge some nights and disturbing the peace during the day. The directions to the place are also lacking as they direct you to the wrong place. It is across the road from where they indicate. John was very hospitable and made our stay enjoyable, including some complimentary wine and a meal. The Sir Lamberts wine is very nice."

  • "A lovely time"

"Zebra Perde house - My family had a lovely time. The place was clean and well kept. The peacocks were loud but the kids enjoyed the beautiful experience. Vineyard views were incredibly beautiful during the early morning walk. Will go again."

  • "Peacock cottage 06/09/2013"

    13 September 2013

"Lovely cottage, very clean. Peacocks did not disturb us too much. The surrounding area though could be tidied up with flowers, etc. No sign on front entrance. Was told where to go by a gardener at the restaurant opposite. Directions not explicit enough!"
