"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was clean, neat and tidy and generally the setting was beautiful. The breakfast was also great. The only thing that was not so cool was the signal of the TV that was very bad, the screen was very snowy all the time. But other than that all was really very enjoyable."

"Loved the family room tucked away at the back of the house, didn't feel like our rambunctious boys would disturb anyone. Room was spacious and neat. A mini fridge might have been useful. Breakfast was top class, with lovely staff. Stunning bird life to watch over breakfast. Pool was icy-and don't think that changes throughout the year as it's completely in shade. But a lovely selection of kid friendly beaches nearby, and low tide was a super treat!"

"The room we stayed in needed a little bit of TLC but was very cute and comfortable. The thing that makes this place special though is the hospitality from the owner, the breakfast the next morning, the level of freedom and peace of mind from crime (really something amazing to experience), the surprise car wash and its location. Leisure isle feels like paradise with the picturesque semi-private lagoon looking into the knysna heads and the sunset makes it perfect for a little romantic time together. "our stay was lovely. The rooms well maintained and very comfortable. Tim was very thoughtful in ensuring a runners breakfast was available for us to have in our rooms before the very early start for the knysna forest marathon. Normal breakfasts were great and made fresh to order. We can definitely recommend Cuningham!"

"We stayed at Cunninghams for 2 nights - had an excellent time.the guest house is lovely, modern, very clean and the rooms were huge! - well recommended. Breakfast was great with fruit, yoghurt, cereals, toast, pastries, bacon, eggs etc! The owner Tim was very welcoming and helpful during our stay.He can recommend restaurants and will also book taxis for you.The guest house is a 5 minute drive away from Knysna's main town but there are restaurants nearer."

"Great value for money. Room was clean, well decorated, very comfortable and private. We loved the breakfast every morning - especially the freshly baked croissants!
