Dieu Donne Cottage

Dieu Donne Cottage is a beautiful self-catering guest cottage set in a private English garden overlooking the Steenbok Nature Reserve and the northern shore of Leisure Isle. The peaceful setting, beautiful views and relaxed walking paths make for a restful vacation for two.

The cottage is double-storey and is completely separate from the main house. The upper storey features a bedroom with twin beds, en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower, and a small balcony. This room also boasts lovely views of the nature reserve and lagoon from the balcony.

The ground floor is an open-plan lounge and kitchen, with a patio looking out onto the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave oven, conventional stove, dishwasher, fridge, and cutlery and crockery appropriate to a holiday cottage. There is also wireless Internet access and a TV with local channels. The lounge opens onto a shaded patio and the garden.

Within a few minutes walk of the cottage are the Steenbok Nature Reserve, Leisure Isle Coffee Shop and Leisure Isle Library. Attractions in the vicinity include Bollard Bay beach, views of the Heads, The Point Beach, the Waterfront with its numerous shops and restaurants, as well as paddle steamers and boats to Featherbed Nature Reserve.

"Excellent self-catering one-bedroom accommodation for couples on Leisure Island, Knysna. The free standing duplex cottage is set in a lovely garden with views over the large communal green area on Leisure Island as well as the Knysna lagoon. It reminds us so much of the Lakes District in England. Hosts Shelley and Peter are super people and left no stone unturned to made us feel welcome. <br />"
