Greenhole Cottage

Greenhole Cottage is a very comfortable three-bedroom home located on Leisure Isle, right on the waters edge. The unit is furnished for a wonderful holiday.

The main bedroom comes with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, as well as underfloor heating. The second bedroom features two three-quarter beds and a double bunk bed. The third bedroom contains twin single beds and a cot; this room faces north and enjoys bright and warm interiors. A separate bathroom and a double shower are conveniently located adjacent to the bedrooms.

The spacious lounge is divided by a fireplace and also has DStv. The room has wonderful views of the lagoon and the famous Knysna Heads. The relaxed dining room next to the lounge has room for 8 adults with easy access to the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with a gas stove and fridge. There is an ample supply of crockery, cutlery and glassware, as well as laundry facilities.

The house opens up onto a sheltered courtyard complete with a built-in braai, ideal for entertaining out of the weather.

"Perfect Family Break"

"Tom and Recent made sure we didn't want for anything during our stay. The proximity to the water, cycling around the island, fishing from the bench below and kayaking, yes, even in August, made for a lovely stay and change in scenery after some serious cabin-fever this year, in an environment friendly and safe to kids. Greenhole cottage is an older house, with accompanying quirks which are common to the island (fx do not run too many appliances at once), but it didn't hinder our stay at all. The dishwasher works, there is a laundry room if needed . Smart TV is a nice addition if you're into that - else just light the fireplace and enjoy the ever changing views of the lagoon. The stars are gorgeous."

"The best location.. lovely beach directly across the road for kids ... facilties super amazing viz full Dstv canoes bikes paddle boards and a lovely outdoor shower! A view to die for ... really a little piece of heaven! The only negative is the kitchen which is old fashioned and could do with an upgrade."

"What a great start to our Honeymoon. The lady who received us (Hannelie ) went the extra mile and the owners have thought of absolutely everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I am yet to find a place as perfect as greenhole cottage. Be warned, you will not want to leave! Can't wait to visit greenhole cottage again"
