  "plek is maar vuilerig. kort regtig n ordentelike verf, linne regtig oud en verbleik, niks pas by niks nie, geen oond, geen bad, geen plastiek bakke vir slaai ens. laaste dag geen warm water, gas was klaar. mat is gedaan. net die rustige atmosfeer en berge verged vir die res. sal maar nie weer kom nie"

  "We lived in the brick cottage, which had all the basic needs. We loved the farm atmosphere. The scenery is beyond amazing and the pace as slow as it gets. This is exactly what we were looking for and can recommend Heimat for anyone who wants to leave life behind and withdraw into absolute serenity. Japie was attentive, but never imposed in any way. We loved every second of our stay and were very sad to leave."

  "Wat 'n ongelooflike ervaring. Dit was met een woord fantasties. Die omgewing en sommer net alles. Ek sal dit aanbeveel vir mense wat hou van rustigheid. Die pas is baie mooi en dit is naby al die strandoorde soos Mosselbaai, Hartenbos, Klein- en Groot Brakrivier. Selfs Oudtshoorn is maar 60 km ver."
