Temenos Retreat

Temenos is well loved for its exceptional beauty and tranquility and is set in the heart of McGregor. The guest house offers a range of fully equipped cottages where guests can relax and enjoy a therapeutic weekend away from the busy city life.

Each fully equipped cottage sleeps two people and has its own private patio and fireplace. The guest house also has a library and a swimming pool in the gardens. There is an on-site restaurant that offers breakfast lunch and supper.

Guests can enquire about the treatments on offer; we offer body therapies, yoga and guided early morning village walks. Temenos is the ideal place from which to explore the charming village of McGregor or the numerous wine estates in the valley. There are also many trails and hikes for nature lovers.

    "An oasis indeed! From the welcoming pack: 'Before your arrival, the room has been gently smudged with sage and myrrh...'. You can expect this ambience to last for the duration of your stay. The quiet and serenity of this space is blissful, yet there is ample opportunity to be social, meditate, swim, do birding, stroll in town... Despite its unassuming appearance, the accommodation is comfortable, private, and well taken care of."
