  "We stayed in the Honeydew cottage over New Year's eve. It is newly built with large light bedrooms and a big stoep out the front with hammocks for lounging in. The cottage is well equipped, with fantastic views and you can go hiking from your doorstep. It's also dog friendly, and our dog greatly enjoyed facing down the dassies on the other side of the river. Doreen is an excellent host, very interesting to chat to and baked us some delicious muffins. We would definitely go back."

  "We have come back to our city lives rested and with our minds stilled after 5 very pleasant days spent at Dew Cottage and hiking and exploring the Montagu surrounds.<br />Doreen is a welcoming and generous host.&nbsp; The cottage is well equipped, and we enjoyed being able to have a fire in the evenings.&nbsp; <br />The stoep is the gem of Dew Cottage.&nbsp; We spent much time there, reading and watching the many birds who visit.<br />Thanks to Doreen and Tarry.<br />"

  "Doreenwas so friendly and made you feel absolutely welcome. The little cottage was spotless, and very well equipped. Nature is all around you. We loved waking up thechirping of birds and going for hikes in the surrounding area. We spend precious family time together, no television or cell phone reception!   "Travel off the tar for a couple of kilometres to a secluded farm in the mountains! A place to revitalise your tired mind and body! A large cottage with electricity provided. No wifi or cellphone (mobile) reception gave us time to relax, catch up on books and conversations! Excellent for bird lovers, hikers or just to chill out. Doreen, our host, was very kind, surprising us with muffins one morning and eggs On another! Good beds, bathroom, a large veranda, braai facilities and much more made this a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend!,"

  "We enjoyed a two day stay at Dew Cottage with my parents. We arrived in a very neat and clean cosy cottage overlooking mountains in all directions. We loved the hammocks on the 'stoep'. <br>We also went on two hikes into the mountains. The Keisie mountains took my breath away with its splendour.<br>The cottage is comfortably equipped with everything you might need for a relaxed stay. Comfortable bed and nice good quality linen and towels were provided as well.<br>The home made jams, atchars and preserves are highly recommended (available to purchase).<br>Zulu, a big doberman dog and his sidekick came to greet us a few times. <br>A place where friendliness is almost tangible in the air!<br>Highly recommended for the price range!"

  "What an awesome experience, away from the rush of the city life. Dew Cottage took my husband and I to a place of pure appreciation...appreciation of life. There's a pure sense of life from the minute you open your eyes, open the front doors and look over the farms. There's life in the river that flows, in the birds chirping, in the soft rustling of the trees. We chose the perfect little piece of heaven to spend our 16th anniversary. Thank you, Doreen for sharing her with us."

  "Dew Cottage is surrounded by beautiful dramatic mountains, a rambling river and the sounds of nature. It is a perfect romantic getaway spot offering everything you need. Perfect for the cold winters nights with feather duvets and extra bedding and we intend to find out how perfect it will be in summer when we return to cool off under the outside shower or in the stream. Our hosts Doreen and Tarry were both very special, offering just enough attention to know they were on the other side of the hill if we needed anything but leaving us to take in the peaceful surroundings and beauty. We will definitely be visiting Dew Cottage again!"

  "We visited Dew Cottage in December. I almost do not want to tell everybody about this jewel in Montague. Doreen in the most fantastic host. She really spoiled us with muffins.The most amazing home made muffins with home made jams.She also spoiled us with her own organic vegetables. When we look back at our tour to Montague (Route 62) She made Montague worthwhile.Weenjoyed the peace and quiet. Our family experienced a very special time at Dew Cottage. "

  "The venue was perfect for what we intended- getting away from all the big town rush and electronic gadgets! The venue was good, the views of the mountains perfect and the stoep made the cottage even more enjoyable. Stunning views & plenty of roads & paths to walk or mountain bike if you feel energetic, very friendly and generous hosts ( and dogs!)plenty of fresh air and tranquility - what more could one ask for. The cherry on the top -No phone or TV reception – blissfully peaceful!Dew Cottage will definitely see us again - this time we will try a winter! "

  "We had a fantastic time and would do it again in a heartbeat. I only wished we could have stayed longer 2 night are way to short a time to experience everything there is to offer.Most enjoyable for people who want to get away from it all is of course the lack of Cell phone reception and TV. But if your contacting needs are urgent Montagu is close enough which has reception.And of course as we drove back the entire Koo Valley just at the top of the Burger Pass was covered in Snow. That in itself was a added bonus."

  "This was a delightful location on a working farm with friendly playful pets and a chatty hostess, best firewood we have ever had and was most appreciated. The rustic cottage was a change from modern day amenities. Great not to have TV, Cellphones etc interrupting natures sounds."
