Bohemian Lofts Backpackers
We at Bohemian Lofts Backpackers offer affordable, quirky clean rooms. We offer a free basic breakfast( toast, jam, tea and coffee) and more importantly we offer free WiFi in our communal areas as well as in some of the en-suite rooms. From Obs you can get to the False Bay beaches, West Coast beaches, the centre of Cape Town and so much more. It is a perfect home base for a traveler, a student, an intern or an outreach volunteer.
We overlook Observatory Lower Main Road. From the balcony, you can sit and people-watch, or just soak up the hustle and bustle of the eclectic, arty neighbourhood of Observatory.

06 May 2013"We had a nice stay last weekend at the Bohemian Loft Backpackers. The bedroom is clean and nice. However I think that at the rate of R470 per night for a double room, the management should make an effort on the bathroom. It wasn't painted, the taps are so difficult to close that I couldn't manage myself (not great for a place that claims to be eco-friendly! And at this price I was expecting more than an old plastic bathtub to shower! Apart from the bathroom, we enjoyed our stay and the staff was friendly."

19 November 2012"We found the backpackers easy to find. Friendly staff and cat and great accomodation. It has a real friendly-family feel with people coming and going all the time. Security is fantastic and we felt at ease leaving our bags in the room and enjoying the neighbourhood."
