"Well located, high in Gardens/Higgovale - pleasant walks in the neighbourhood. We stayed in the downstairs studio flatlet. As warned, there were no views, but could sit out on a patio in the shade of a tree next to a lawned enclosure. The room was clean and comfortable, but, though described as self-catering, there were no plates and bowls (until requested for a second time) for our breakfast cereals. Unfortunately, the flatlet is not well insulated from noises of someone (the owner's husband, it seemed) walking in the room above us and the door to the adjacent flatlet persisted (on a VERY windy night) in blowing open and banging noisily, as the catch was broken! The second problem could be fixed, but I wonder about the first - if you're a light sleeper, perhaps not for you.Owner and staff pleasant, but perhaps a little overwhelmed in the busy season."
"Friendly reception, great and comfortable room, safe parking and highly recommended."
"The place is clean and in a superb location for views of Cape Town. Breakfast is great with a fresh fruit salad served every morning along with the usual cereals and bread. My only gripe was the dripping toilet tank in the bathroom. This was very noisy, and we had to turn it off at the wall at night. I asked the proprietor to have it fixed midway through our stay, but it was not done. But it's a nice place. I would stay there again."
"Second visit. Made very welcome, great big beds and amazing views."
"I found the hosts gracious. The accommodation was very comfortable and the views from the house were incredible."
