• "The best holiday ever"

    23 December 2007

"From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home away from home, because of their warm hospitality. Both Jonnie and Sharon would be there at breakfast time to greet us, we would chat and it was so lovely. They made sure that we were ok at all times, giving us proper directions to different places and recommend places to see. They always went an extra mile in taking care of us in every way. The service was superb, the breakfast, the bedrooms and the whole house was just magnificent. We are definitely coming back next year to stay with them and would recommend this place to anyone, whether from abroad or around South Africa to come here, as we can assure them that that would be a holiday they would never forget..."

"The Redbourne Hilldrop B&B provided us with an absolutely fabulous experience in Cape Town. We arrived after dark and had no idea what the city looked like.

We opened our curtains the following morning and were greeted by THE most beautiful sunrise we have ever seen and a spectacular view of the Victoria and Albert harbour.

The B&B is located in an upscale suburb and was quiet, homey, clean and comfortable. Jonny and Sharon were absolutely delightful hosts, we felt as though we had known them for years.

They gave us very accurate advice on what to see, where to eat and what to avoid. It was a truly great experience for our first trip to South Africa.

We will certainly stay there again on our next trip."
