Tucked along a little stream, boasting bird life, Feather Nest is a large, private 2-bedroom apartment that offers a sense of peace and tranquility, conveniently located in town in one of the most desirable areas of Oudtshoorn.
The lovely apartment offers 2 air-conditioned rooms that are furnished with a queen-size bed in 1 room and 2 single beds in the second, each opening to the large private balcony. The rooms share the use of a modern shower-only bathroom.
The open-plan kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, tea, and coffee facilities, and all the necessary cutlery and crockery. The lounge offers comfortable seating, a large smart TV with Netflix and DSTV, and also opens onto the large balcony with an outdoor dining area overlooking the tree canopies.

13 January 2014"I have just finished a four day stay at FEATHERNEST in Oudtshoorn from 23 - 27 December 2013.I want you to know that as a regular traveller, both in South Africa and abroad, I usually stay at a B&B and that this particular establishment, operated by Mia Steyn and her daughter, is by far the best I have ever enjoyed.The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the breakfast is sumptious and the service is very friendly and homely, but professional.All in al this B&B gets a 5 star rating from me and is real value for money.Should I live, I shall certainly stay at FEATHERNEST again and I will strongly recommend it to my friends and acquaintances."

14 December 2007"After a five hour drive from Gordon's Bay we were welcomed at Feather Nest by Mia, with tea and cookies. We then had four of the most relaxing days you could imagine. Days started with Mia's great breakfasts served in the peaceful garden by the pool, watching her 'feathered friends' also having breakfast.The bedrooms and the interior rooms were all immaculate, and Mia was very helpful with local info.and restaurant bookings, including one of SA top restaurants JAMIMAS. The hospitality and friendliness of Mia, her staff, and the people we met in the Karoo town Oudtshoorn, will remain with us for long time."
