Presidensie Guest Rooms

Presidensie Guest Rooms was built during 2012 and is situated in the university town of Potchefstroom. The guest house is located in a tranquil and private neighbourhood.

The accommodation consists of five private double rooms all with modern finishes and facilities. Situated directly adjacent to the Presidents Museum, the facility offers the same old Cape-style architecture. It is believed that President MW Pretorius built this old Cape-style dwelling with its coach house, stable and smithy in 1868.

The guest house is within walking distance of the impressive JB Marks Cricket Stadium, the Potchefstroom campus of the Northwest University, the Aardklop Festival terrain and the Fanie du Toit sports terrain.

"What a lovely surprise. Spacious rooms with absolutely everything one needs for a stay, including a bar fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery. Beautiful decor and thoughtful touches made it a pleasure to stay. What we really enjoyed was the privacy we experienced. Good security. Will definitely stay here again. "I am absolutely delighted that I found this establishment. I just know I will have a comfortable evening here tonight. I have just had a cup of REAL coffee, not Ricoffy or Frisco. What a pleasure. I also indulged in rusks, very tasty indeed. Just what I needed. I feel very comfortable and I am impressed on how welcome the host made me feel.I travel all over South Africa, and stay in many Bed and Breakfasts, never in hotels, and I have NEVER had the privilege of staying in such a tastefully decorated, and well placed establishment before.
