Firmly established in Potchefstroom - a relaxed and charming country getaway. This spacious friendly guesthouse set in a lush garden under indigenous trees exudes traditional hospitality. Stop 'n Stay is situated in a very quiet and safe side of Potchefstroom. We are very close to town about 4 km. The parking is very safe, no need to be worried about. Stop 'n Stay is the perfect harmony between Africa, accommodation, architecture, art, nature and people. Stop n Stay Guest house is situated close by the city centre, still provides all the charm and rustic character of a traditional farmstead, with the rural ambiance and farm animals providing a welcome rest from the busy city life.
Accommodation includes single rooms, double, family rooms and honeymoon suite. Self-catering garden cottages also available. Stop 'n Stay can accommodate 22 people at once. Each unit is fully-equipped with the following: Stove, microwave, fridge, remote control TV, fan, cutlery, linen, towels and braai facilities.
Stop n Stay breakfast is a big specialty to start your day with a bang. Stop 'n Stay also serve Dinner on appointment - you will definitely not regret it. Fax and e mail facilities available at reception. Children under 4 years - free. Breakfast at an additional cost of R50 per person.

22 June 2010"Not the best stay of my life. I felt a bit uneasy during the night. Bedding was very thin for this time of the year, it was -6 degrees. There was no electric blanket on the beds. Overall impression was not good. Owner Mariette, was very friendly and probably tried her best, but I did not like the area as it doesn't give you an impression of safe!! Compared to the other establishments I have used from you, this one does not give a very good impression!"
