"Long tree lined avenue opens out to impressive views of the house based on the "Gone with the Wind" film.Foyer and lobby areas are also based on the same impressive theme.The bedrooms (with bathroom) are large but dated and in need of upgrading.Manager and staff all very friendly and helpful."

"Impressive facade and pretty outside, but this is not reflected in the service.On arrival, we knocked, rang door-bell, waited and searched property to find someone to let us in.Manager encouraged us to eat dinner and breakfast elsewhere.Hair-dryer, which comes with the room, was missing, so while I waited with dripping hair, hubby spent 15 minutes searching for and waking the manager on Sunday morning to find one.Bathroom cupboard doors rotting off their hinges."

"Oh what a beauty of a place to spend my valentine weekend. The room was big, neat and comfortable the rest of the house was majestic. Hester and Chris thank you for making our stay even more wonderful with your vibrant personalities making us feel more than welcome. This is defineltly going into my book of must return places. Wish i could give it a 10 star rating as 5 seems so low."

"I was puzzled at the fact that I was the only guest in what seemed like a beautiful venue. Amanda, the hostess was very helpful and attentive and I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing was lacking was more guests."
