  "I do not like complaining but this place is barely suitable as a place to stay. You stay right next to the farm workers that play music loud and smoke weed all night long, almost everything is broken or breaking. Even the floor isn't even level! Dirt and farm rubbish is lying everywhere!<div><br /></div><div>I lived in a tent for 2 years as a game ranger and I would've taken that anyday over this.</div>"

  "A great little stop over spot. away from the middle of town, quiet and relaxing surrounds.for bed cottage for just two of us allowed us to spread out and enjoy the space. fairly well equipped kitchen and rooms.Could have had complimentary coffee or tea on offer and soap in the bathroom or kitchen.Very happy nonetheless."

  "We traveled as students and were thrilled to find a cheap place to see Bloemfontein from. It was not great (we were really cold, it was winter and we did not have enough blankets, no heater in my rooms, a few windows did not close well, difficult to find the hosts and no real contact with them) but good enough for the price (with a couch in front of the TV, a self-catering kitchen with everything we needed, two separate rooms and a large enough bathroom), and seemed perfectly safe."

  "I have now stayed at El Shaddai Backpackers twice and for my needs on my visit to Bloemfontein have been more than adequate, with plenty of hot water and very comfortable beds. Very peaceful stay."

  "Even though the self catering unit was furnished with what was required and the staff were friendly, the area around the unit was really dirty - basically a veld with junk lying everywhere. Comparing the price of this place with what we paid for other units it was not really worth the monies paid."
