Tin House

The Tin House is a stylishy renovated barn with lots of character, decorated in a French Provencal style.

The house features three bedrooms; one upstairs and two downstairs. All of the fully furnished bedrooms have double beds. Three bathrooms are available, featuring showers and bathtubs - one of which is en-suite to the main bedroom. Facilities include air-conditioning in all rooms and a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. The unit also has a sparkling pool and a log fireplace for those cold winter nights.

Stroll around the villages and enjoy the rural atmosphere. Spend an afternoon hiking up Kasteelberg and enjoy 360-degree views over the Swartland and towards Table Mountain in the distance. Take a bike tour on a scenic dirt road, or a leisurely walk exploring the vineyards and fruit orchards. Enjoy the peace and calm; the ideal getaway in the Riebeek valley. The garden is a favourite spot for bridal photos.

"We loved our stay at Tin House, the only thing that made the stay a bit uncomfortable was that every surface in the house was covered with delicate breakables and nicknacks. Although beautiful to look at, it was difficult to relax, not wanting to accidentally bump or break something. Having a 2 year old with us was a challenge and I spent the first 2 hours or the holiday packing things away to avoid breaking anything."

"I stayed over a weekend, had friends come through on Saturday and the outside kuier area was just superb. It is perfectly situated - but then again, nothing is far from anything in Riebeek-Kasteel, it was an easy stroll into town. Bedrooms feel luxurious. Really wonderful place to unwind."

"<p>We had a fantasticstay in the Tin House (our second visit) - the outside area islovely in the summer, and although it was blazingly hot this past weekend, the splash pool and air conditioning helped to ease the extreme heat.</p><p>Thank you!</p><p></p><p></p>"

"We had a great stay in Tin House, really enjoyed the garden and will certainly recommend this to other families, our children are teenagers, possibly not suited to families with toddlers."

"The Tin House is a beautiful cottage with a lovely porch area, garden as well as pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, because of the antique furnishings (far too) many precious ornaments, crockery, books, nick nacks etc. it is very difficult to relax and move around in case something gets knocked over or damaged accidentally."
