Die Ponthuis
Die Ponthuis is a cosy self-catering cottage on a farm just outside of Riviersonderend. It is ideal for a romantic couples retreat or a family weekend away. The cottage can accommodate four people and is located on the banks of the Sonderend River.
There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge and a small kitchenette with a microwave, tea and coffee-making facilities and all cutlery and crockery. The living room has a dining table and couches facing a large indoor fireplace. This is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine while relaxing in front of the roaring fireplace. Outside guests will find a braai and big veranda. There are lovely views of the surrounding mountains and spectacular sunsets.
The farm offers numerous activities; guests can swim in the river or bring their own canoe. There is a tennis court on the farm and guests can enjoy birdwatching or walking around farm.
