Desert Wind Adventure Game Farm

Nestled in the heart of this unhurried region of South Africa is the Desert Wind Private Game Farm. Located off the beaten track, approximately 200 km from Cape Town and 40 km from Montagu, Desert Wind is the perfect vacation haven for those who want to really get away from it all.

Being a private game farm, Desert Wind boasts a considerable variety of game and wildlife that you can view. Desert Wind caters superbly for families or large groups of friends and can easily sleep up to 14 people. The lodge is generous in size and has beautiful wooden floors, stone work and high ceilings. There are three spacious bedrooms, which are all comfortably carpeted, with all having en-suite bathrooms.

There are also 4x4 routes for you to explore, mountain bike and hiking trails to discover, as well as a rock pool to cool off in. You will also find it hard to beat the experience of just sitting on our patio and admiring the breathtaking view of the mountains whilst drinking in the majestic silence and peacefulness of the Little Karoo region.

"we stayed at the Kliphuis the Location is perfect but the house is very simpel and the cleanless very poor. broken blinds dirty dishes for R1800 totaly overpriced"

"Upon arrival, the staff was "apparently" not informed about our stay so they did not prepare the house I requested and would accommodate us in the small guest house. Thus I was disappointed as I booked a specific room for a reason but the staff was friendly and had done their best to accommodate us within 30 min.<div>The small guest house was spacious but there is no working space in the kitchen and as it is self catering I was expecting a little more.</div><div>We were not able to enjoy the shower as the hot water gas boiler kept on shutting down just as the water gets hot. </div><div><br /></div><div>Magda Storm</div><div>Vaalpark 2016</div>"

"Couldn't of asked for more, what an amazing experience! We stayed in the Large Guest House and couldn't be happier. There were lama's, ostriches and other animals enclosed right on your doorstep. The rooms were beautiful, and far more than we expected. I would highly recommend!"
