Abelia Place
Abelia Place has two separate units attached to a family home in quiet, leafy upmarket Rondebosch, each with a private separate entrance, kitchenette and driveway parking.
Each suite has comfortable beds, a nice bathroom with shower, plus a little kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle and other basics. The location is very accessible so it is a good base for your stay in Cape Town, but please note that public transport in residential areas is not good so a car is advisable, It is 3 - 5 kms to UCT, Groote Schuur Hospital, Red Cross, Newlands Cricket and Rugby - and CT International Airport is a 15 - 20 min drive (during normal off-peak times)
The rates represent good value and include a cooked breakfast served on a tray in your room. Mike and Joy Smith have been caring for guests for over 20 years and look forward to meeting you.
*Please note that due to water restrictions the swimming pool is covered and not available.

"Comfy stay"
23 March 2020"The flat was spotless and clean. The beds were so comfy. We had no trouble sleeping. Bathroom included a shower and separate bath. Fresh towels given to us each day. Only there for two days but Abelia Place was close to the cable way, water front and a pleasant drive to Simons Town. The breakfasts were the high light of our holiday. The TV could have done with a few more channels. Our hosts Joy and Mike were very friendly. Thanks once again for a pleasant stay. Sorry that it was so short. Regards Heather and Merle."

18 June 2011"We had a pleasant stay at Abelia. The room was spacious and warm. Beds were comfortable. The owner couple were very sweet and hospitable. They have a lovely collection of antique furniture. Just a small hitch! We felt a bit cold in the room as heating was not adequate. An extra blanket for each bed would have been sufficient and comfortable. Never the less everything else was perfect! Would love to stay there again!"
