It is a real piece of heaven, quiet with magnificent views! Although our child was not with us on our trip, he will most definitely be with us on our return visit as it is very child friendly. Really enjoyed the local farm animals!"

  "We were happy to have booked here. It was definitely value for money! It is set on a farm, so don't expect luxury and designer furniture, but the place is clean, comfortable, and well equipped as self-catering units. They even have TVs with DVD players in the rooms and they offer their own DVDs in case you want to borrow some (for free). It is set in between the mountains in a beautiful spot. If you are travelling with kids, they'll enjoy feeding the donkeys in the mornings. The best thing about this place was the hospitality - such lovely and welcoming people running this place! They are busy with renovations, so I think you can expect more in the near future. At present, not sure it's a place where you want to stay many nights, at least if you are there with kids. If you are going as a couple, or alone, just looking for peace, then yes, you can stay as long as you want. If you are doing the Garden Route for Oudtshoorn, this is an excellent spot to stay the night. Great value for money!"

  "We did not have a nice stay. We left after one day. The we couldn’t find another place to stay so we had to go home and we didn’t have a holiday at all. The walls inside the chalet are dirty, there are no glasses, one of the 3 cups were broken. The bathroom carpet was extremely dirty, the duvet and pillows are extremely worn-out, the paint is coming off outside, and dogs are lying around on old mattresses. There is a lot of junk like old bath tubs lying around in the yard. When we arrived the whole chalet was full of bugs and spiders because the windows were left open. There are also two cocks who wake up at 4am. I don’t understand how someone with a guesthouse keep cocks."

  "We had a wonderful stay in the Loft Unit. It was recommended by family and friends who had stayed here before. We used it as a base to do a few day trips further up the coast to Knysna. We were welcomed by Ernest and were made to feel right at home from the off-set. Beautiful location!"
