Pashasha Beach House

Pashasha derives its name from the Xhosa word meaning 'all good', which encapsulates the principles on which this breezy beach house was created in an 'all good', thoroughly South African way for fun, relaxation and luxury.

Situated in charming Sandbaai, this elegantly furnished fully-equipped house has been designed with open spaces and clean lines. The house is a minutes walk from a magnificent beach and sleeps up to eight people with wood fired hot tub..

The large open-plan kitchen features a modern granite topped bar counter which forms the heart of the home; ideal for entertaining. The house is decked with Balau wooden decking at the front and at the back, which creates two separate entertainment areas with mountain and sea views respectively. French doors give living rooms a modern, airy feel, and one can catch a glimpse of the ocean and lush Milk Woods from the large open-plan kitchen and outside deck.

The sandy beach which is one minutes walk away has rock pools, exciting little coves, safe swimming for children and a very popular surf spot.

Just beyond Sandbaai, the Hemel-en-Aarde village has a large variety of shops, farm stalls, galleries, studios, jewelers, restaurants, and a wine route which is a popular way to spend most of a day. But what makes Sandbaai unique is it's position; sandwiched between the sea and the slopes of the Onrust Mountains between the Onrus River and Hermanus, it is truly one of the most beautiful parts of the world.

"The house was fantastic! Great design and everything was provided, we would have liked an axe to chop wood for them fireplace but couldn't find one. All the rooms were spacious and the heating was perfect in each room during the night. Friendly service and appreciated everyone's willingness to help. Will definitely come again!"

"Pashasha is as gorgeous in person as it looks in the photographs. Well-equipped with everything you could possibly want or need, including beach towels, toys for the children, a movie projector, and even fresh flowers on arrival. Garden is lovely and size-able, great kids to run around, with a large braai area. It's a short walk to an uncrowded beach. Sandbaai is quiet, though just a short drive from the bustle of Hermanus proper and across the road from the Hemel-en-Aarde wine route (highly recommend)."
