St Francis Es-cape is a contemporary, modern home in the heart of St Francis Village. With the recently renovated shingle roof and white washed ceilings, the house is bright with beautiful views over the village and out to sea. Large enclosed garden provides safety for pets. Central, but quiet location within 500m of both golf courses and walking distance to shops and swimming beach. Downstairs the house comprises a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and informal lounge, which opens onto covered patio with outside dining facilities and Weber braai. Upstairs the queen bed sleeps two adults, plus a sleeper couch for small children or 3rd adult. Kindly note: Property has off-street parking and several stairs to the house (around 20). House itself also has stairs and balcony with double railing which is fairly exposed for small children. Therefore not suitable for those who may find stairs problematic. Small children require adult supervision.

"Our dogs could come with us!"
19 August 2017"What a lovely escape! Just perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. Clean, comfortable and cosy, yet more than spacious enough for the dogs to spread out around us. The enclosed yard was great as it gave them the space to run around and explore and gave us the peace of mind that they could not wander off. The house and kitchen is well equipped, comfortably furnished and provided everything we needed for a lovely stay. The heaters kept the winter cold at bay, while the easily cleaned tiled floor downstairs meant we were not worried about letting our dogs out into the wet garden. We were close enough to the shops and main road for our needs and yet far enough away that the surroundings were peaceful. The bed was fantastic and the linen luxurious, the bathroom spacious and the big bath perfect for relaxation after a long walk on the beach. Mireilles warning about the stairs, both from the parking spot and within the house, are to be taken seriously. Be fully aware of them, as they will not suit those with mobility problems or very young toddlers and you will need to carry your belongings from the car to the house. That being said, I whole heartedly recommend this place as a perfect hide-away for that much needed down-time to relax and recoup your energy. Plus a huge thumbs up from our dogs! 06 March 2016"hi i recently booked at st francis for 4 nights but only stayed 3 couldnt bear the hot weather. the ad is for 2 adults 2 small kids. bur for 2 small kids its very dangerous upstairs balcony is not secure, steps giong down from upstairs has got no gate for kiddies safety also the gate going up has got no latch to close properly. and in this hot heat summer there is no fans or aircon. and would be lovely if the lounge downstairs has also got a tv.otherwise i found it lovely and very nicely equipped kitchen. i really enjoyed my stay apart from getting super hot and running up and down after the kids watching them not going up or down the steps."

09 February 2016"In general we had a fantastic stay in this self catering house! However:<div>- for elderly people is the climb from the parking place to the bedroom a big problem!!! Especially with heavy luggage!</div><div>- the curtains in the whole house, but most important in the bedroom, were useless! We awoke at 5 in the morning because of the daylight!! These curtains are good to prevent a neighbor watching you, but not for the sunrise!!!</div><div><br /></div><div>The house war very well equipped! Also for the golfers with 2 trolleys!</div>"
