  "Cobblers Cottage is a well located, comfortable and practically appointed cottage. It has a beautiful rear garden and comfy stoep for just chilling. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only reason I didn't give more than 3 stars is because the neighbours have a number of dogs that bark at all hours. There was one that barked at every movement from the road and woke us up early in the morning on 2 of the nights we were there. Really spoiled the peaceful ambience."

  "We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Tailor's Cottage. Immaculate accommodation, spacious and airy, comfortable bed, quiet with all necessary equipment. Very conveniently situated close to the town attractions. We appreciated the fact that our dogs could join us and they enjoyed the large garden enclosed garden area. We will definitely go back to this wonderful town and stay in the same cottage."

  "Tailors and Cobblers Cottages are lovely and great to stay at if you are a family of 10. Owner was not too friendly when we arrived, he seemed a bit flustered. Clean and spacious, DSTV in Cobblers Cottage didn't work too well. We will definitely go back."

  "We recently stayed at Cobblers Cottage, Stanford for a lovely long weekend in June. The cottage was wonderfully neat and clean. Lovely finishings, uncluttered yet cosy, and well equipped. We loved that there was plenty of space for our 17 month old to run around inside plus a lovely courtyard to enjoy when the weather is good. The cottage is perfect for a winters getaway because of the lovely fireplaces and the generous supply of wood. There is plenty to do in the area although one could happily stay in the cottage all weekend. We will definitely be returning!"

  "We were overnighting in Stanford for a wedding at Beloftebos. We stayed in the Tailors cottage and it was very well kitted out and very comfortable. It has easy access to the main road and amenities in Stanford. The cottage is spacious and well furnished. The owners made our stay completely hassle-free and we wished we were staying for longer. If you are going to stay in Stanford, you must stay here."

  "Stanford is a quaintly preserved corner of the Overberg and the cottage was delightfully decorated and comfortably furnished with garden space. Wish we had stayed longer just to relax and enjoy the peace. DSTV would be a bonus for those who want to catch some international news and current sport in the evening."
