  "My husband and I had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at Blue Room. <br/><br/>Diane and her team were fantastic hosts and so accommodating to all our needs. They were extremely welcoming and friendly and even let us know that the apartment was ready early so we could move in early.<br/><br/>The location is extremely convenient and it was great to be able to walk down to the restaurants, Knysna Quays and even town. <br/><br/>The deck was a great feature and was fantastic to be able to braai in the evenings as the other apartments we have stayed at on Thesen Island have had much smaller decks with no braai. <br/><br/>A great stay and thanks to Diane for having us!"

  "Blue Room West was a total disappointment. Firstly the directions were incorrect, sawtooth not sawmill lane as indicated, secondly the owner never answered her cell phone as we were not informed as to where to collect the keys for the apartment, almost an hour later the cashier at Classic Blue provided us with the keys after we approached her enquiring if she knew the owner of the Blue Room apartments directly above the store.When we finally got inside to unpack our things, the fridge had old dairy products left in it, the bathroom was dusty with cobwebs, cobwebs which was present throughout the loft.The kettle had cat hair in it and the kitchen sink and one of the bathroom sinks, whenever used you would get a disgusting clogged drained smell that filled the loft.The bathroom shower head was covered in green mould and the bedding wasn't clean either, not to mention that the bed was very uncomfortable to sleep in also.The braai wasn't cleaned either as for the apparent views of the mountain and lagoon that could be viewed from the loft. You can see the mountain, as for the lagoon you just need to move all the businesses and other apartments, etc. out of the way.To this day I'm still waiting on the owner to return my call - Unprofessional, no hospitality.I would not recommend the Blue Rooms to anyone. It really spoiled the rest of our honeymoon in Knysna"

  "Stayed for 5 nights. Attractive decor. Relatively clean. Disappointed with bed and pillows - were uncomfortable. Would have been nice to have washing machine available. Also was told that the rooms would be serviced daily but they were not. Weber braai was left dirty after other guests and although we asked for it to be cleaned it wasn't. The east room is larger and nicer. It is also shielded from street noise. Great to be situated on Thesen Island."

  "Close to all the restaurants on Thesen Island and Knysna Quay - so eating out was easy. The Red Room has a nice patio - with braai area which over looks the main street. Linen and towels changed regularly and cleaned daily. Owner very hospitable."

  "The room is not comfortable for stays longer than a day. The kitchen lacks the basics. The room also has a cold feel to it as it does not get much sun. We felt most unwelcome when we couldn't find the address and the contact person on the booking form will not answer her phone. The geyser is too small and the water runs cold while the second person is taking a shower."

  "We had a fabulous stay at Blue Rooms. The place is very cosy, intimate and has a Paris feel to it, hence a lovely place for a romantic getaway. I will definitely be back."
