Ebbtide House on Thesen Island

Ebbtide is a modern self-catering three bedroomed home situated on Thesen Island in the Knysna Lagoon, within walking distance of Knysna Town and Waterfront. Thesen Island has its own Harbour Town, with several good restaurants and interesting shops. This lovely home can accommodate up to a maximum of eight adults, is open plan and has spacious lounge/dining area, fully equipped kitchen with scullery, TV Lounge leading to large patio. The main bedroom features a Queen bed, and full bathroom en suite. This room also has bay windows and chairs for relaxing in the sunshine. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed & also has a bay window. Third bedroom has two single beds. There is a second full bathroom. The fourth bedroom is a separate flat with a Queen bed and double sleeper couch, shower room. Lounge/dining and kitchenette & lead onto a patio with table and chairs. Full & separate DSTV in house and Loft. The house living area leads out to a large covered open patio area with outdoor dining furniture and gas BBQ facilities. From the patio you will be looking out onto the natural indigenous garden and beautiful parkland areas. Safe walking and cycling can be enjoyed all within the security of Thesen Island. There is a Bird Reserve and Hide on the island which makes it a paradise for bird watchers. The safe private marina beach with full facilities, including BBQ is for the use of residents and guests. There are several slipways for easy launching of boats. Ebbtide House has its own mooring & jetty, just over the road. Guests can enjoy tennis, squash, outdoor gym, outdoor chess, 18 hole golf putting course and kiddies play areas. Island beach with facilities is just a short walk away from house.
