Leeward Isle on Thesen islands

Leeward Isle is a lovely studio flatlet for two, situated in Thesen Islands. Thesen Islands is a multi-award winning marina development located in the scenic Knysna estuary on the renowned Garden Route of South Africa.

The flatlet is very private with 24-hour security. The studio flatlet consists of one bedroom, an en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette and a compact lounge area with DStv and a sleeper couch. This luxurious unit has heated towel rails and under-floor heating.

The marina is spread over 90 hectares and consists of 19 manmade islands linked by 21 arched bridges and surrounded by 25 hectares of tidal waterways. All the homes are built in a colonial-maritime architectural style, conforming to Knysnas vernacular architecture and its historical maritime and timber connections.

Thesen Islands is linked by a causeway and bridge to the mainland and is within walking distance of the scenic waterfront, yacht harbour and town centre of Knysna, a picturesque and popular coastal town.

"Lovely house with stunning view. Sadly no internet connection Julia our service manager was wonderful and very helpful. Security good but fingerprint Access a nightmare not working most of the time! Quite a distance from shops and restaurants so not perfect."

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Leeward Isle. The loft apartment was very well equipped, tastefully decorated, cosy and comfortable. It's location on the beautiful Thesen Island marina is also perfect and close to many of the best restaurants and attractions.<br />"
