  • "Hidden Gem"

    05 January 2015

"When we arrived at Kloofzicht we were immediately taken with how rustic and beautiful the loft accommodation was. No TV (which is great!), great views and a swimming pool to cool off in. When we arrived the housekeeper was fantastic as was the groundsman who came and gave us more wood for our braai at no charge. Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend this accommodation."

  • "Peaceful country getaway"

    12 March 2012

"We arrived at Kloofzicht Farm to discover a quaint little cottage - perfect for a quick escape from busy Cape Town. There is a dam within walking distance of the cottages and the grounds are so beautiful and picturesque. The owners were so kind and accommodating and even offered us a swim in their pool in the 35-degree plus weather! We will definitely recommend Kloofzicht if you want a quiet and relaxing weekend away."

  • "Nice cottage but unpleasant owner"

    16 January 2012

"The Loft is a wonderfully spacious cottage in a nice setting, but it lacks a proper kitchen and outdoor furniture. It was also unfortunate that the cottage was advertised as dog-friendly, but the owners' one dog bites other dogs and is roaming freely on the property which means that one has to watch/guard ones own dogs non-stop. Not very relaxing, so don't bring dogs. The owner also asked for a higher price than had been quoted by SafariNow which led to some unpleasant discussions."
