The Toll House

The Toll House offers spectacular self-catering accommodation in Tulbagh, with a majestic backdrop of the Witzenberg Mountains. Centrally located in Tulbaghs historic Church Street with 32 national monuments, The Toll House dates from 1807. Its Cape Dutch architecture features thatched roofs, gables and yellowwood floors. If you feel the need to unwind and spend some quality time with family or friends, this is the ideal venue.

The spacious self-catering cottage comfortably accommodates six guests in three bedrooms. The main bedroom is dominated by its four-poster bed, and has an en-suite shower room. Two further bedrooms - one double and one single - share a separate bathroom and toilet. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge. The secluded garden has a welcoming plunge pool, sun beds and braa/barbecue. The self-catering facility is within walking distance of a number of excellent restaurants, supermarkets and banks.

Weddings in Tulbagh are increasingly popular, and The Toll House provides flexible accommodation for families and groups of friends. If you have a wedding in Tulbagh, guests can be accommodated in both The Toll House self-catering cottage and the Tulbagh Hotel itself on a bed and breakfast basis. Although a self-catering cottage, the Tulbagh Hotel owns The Toll House, and a bed and breakfast rate can be arranged at any time.
