Ivory Tusk Lodge is located in the heart of Tzaneen and offers Luxury Rooms. The lodge is located just three and a half hours from Johannesburg, and the accommodation is ideal for corporate travellers and groups to the area.
Breakfast can be arranged for guests on request and there is a fully licensed restaurant and a ladies bar. We have excellent fully equipped conference facilities and guests can enjoy room service and laundry services on request.
Ivory Tusk Lodge is a mere 200 m from the Tzaneen Mediclinic, making it the ideal place for visitors with family or friends booked in at the clinic. The lodge is also located near the main city centre with many restaurants and shopping centres. The Kruger National Park is only 96 km from Tzaneen.

24 August 2019"Great convenient location, clean very and helpful staff however there is plenty room for improvement - no extra blankets, no microwave or stove for a self catering chalet was very inconvenient"

"BAD SERVICE FROM RECEPTION"
25 September 2018"We had to wait as my bookings was not confirmed with the deposit I paid to Safarinow. I had to forward the sms that confirmed my bookings to the receptionist cell number. The receptionist didn't give us a tv remote and when I requested one, he gave me one that was not working. The room didn't have a fridge and a stove and I requested a self catering. this was just not on because we already bought food/meat to braai and some milk and stuff for breakfast. which gone spoiled and had to spend more money for take away. I was really not impressed at all and could really not recommend any one there. the receptionist had some lousy excuses that the rooms are being renovated but how can the charge so much money with such low services? it was a 6 sleeper with only 3 cups and glasses with no plates or forks or spoons or even teaspoons. So much that I paid I didn't expect such a service."

02 June 2014"it was my first time visit to Tzaneen and hoped to have a fantastic resting experience at your lodge. the welcome was so uninviting! i was given a key to find the room on my own. the room was so dull no tea/coffee items. i doubt if i will use your lodge again unless the service improves. you are located in a most strategic place but seem not geared up for the top notch business activity."

29 April 2014"Friendly staff trying to deliver, but generally the accommodation is poor. The rooms smelt terrible, walls were filthy, only given one towel for a couple, old used soap in the shower, etc etc etc. I would not recommend staying here. The star in the rating is only there in order to submit this review."
