Namaqua Lodge is located in Vanrhynsdorp, in the very heart of Namaqualand. We are renowned for our warm hospitality and delicious meals in a relaxed atmosphere.
We have a variety of rooms to suit all travelers. After settling in, join us at our ladies bar where you can relax while playing pool and darts, or watch DStv and enjoy a cold beverage. Come and have a look at the second largest Tie collection in the world. In summer, the best place to be is at the bar, where you can enjoy a sundowner whilst relaxing under the lapa. We offer secure parking for guest vehicles.
Namaqualand Country Lodge provides a base for tourists to better explore the region that includes Namaqualand, West Coast, Olifants River Valley, Knersvlakte, Gifberg, Maskamberg, Kobee, and Matzikama with numerous hiking trails, historical buildings, and rock art to be explored. With all of our facilities, Namaqualand Country Lodge truly provides every guest's needs at very affordable rates.
We are approximately 300 km north of Cape Town and 270 km south of Springbok.

15 August 2021"Friendly staff.Clean room.Vehicle safety.Central Location.SLOTS!!!!!On the breakfast menu: Right hand upper corner it should be spelled TOO and not TO.Instead of Gorden Blue on the board on the wall it should be spelled Cordon Blue.Also....If the cook could add all the ingredients for an omelette into the egg mix instead of on top of the egg base.Really was not nice with cold salsa added in the mix.Other than that our stay was wonderful."

10 April 2013"The advert on the website says all meals included, this is NOT true! All meals are extra. Very misleading. Only kettle and cups in room, no coffee, sugar, etc."

"Country hospitality"
14 January 2013"I can truly recommend this lodge as a stay-over on your way to the Northen Cape or Namibia. It was an extremely hot day on the 21st of December 2012 and I was very grateful for the air conditioner in my room which worked perfectly well as was the hair dryer and coffee/tea facilities. The linen was fresh,the mattress comfortable, the shower hot, the pool crystal clear and the beer ice cold. Mike, the very friendly young man at reception was most helpful assisting me with my Kobo and offered a fresh pot of coffee on arrival. It was the 1st time that I was charged for safe parking, but I did not mind, because my car was packed."

20 August 2012"The room was not supplied with things like water, coffees and teas, toilet soap. Toilet was not fixed even though we pointed out the problem - we were told just not to flush it during the night. Food not great and waitress uninformed about items on menu."
