Victorian in style, the house was originally built in 1916 and it still retains much of its original character and charm. Your host, Herbert, invites you to make yourselves at home and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our lodgings. "Both Herbert and Terence were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They were a mine of information about the area which is really helpful for visitors. We had breakfasts there which were generous and in particular, excellent scrambled eggs! The coffee could have been stronger, but it was freshly brewed and hot. The one evening meal we had there was also good. The guesthouse is well placed for exploring the small town."

"Lovely property with quality fittings and a nice "courtyard garden" for enjoying a glass of wine and watching the many colourful avian visitors to the bird bath. Breakfast is first class, as is the dinner, prepared by Herbert. Staff are very helpful."

"Ons het vir 2 nagte daar oorgebly en was wonderlik verras deur die netheid van die plek asook die gasvryheid van Herbert en Trevor. Ons het een oggend ontbyt by hulle genuttig wat heerlik was. Hulle het ook vir ons vooraf plek bespreek by die plaaslike restaurant vir die een aand. Kos was heerlik en diens flink. Sal definitief weer daar oorbly."
