Die Opstal

Die Opstal is situated within walking distance of the Berg River and Bokkomlaan. It has two luxurious units that sleep eight and two guests respectively. Both units have their own private braai areas and parking, and there is enough parking area for two boat trailers.

The Flat has one bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, hob, stove, fridge-freezer and a living area with a TV offering DStv. The Main House has four bedrooms with double beds, twin beds and a bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, tumble-dryer, gas hob and a lounge with a TV offering DStv. Both of the units are newly refurbished with a farm-style atmosphere. All the facilities that you will have at home are available, including DStv on request.

Velddrif brings to mind the Berg River, fishermen, bokkoms and beautiful beaches. It is one of the small fishing villages that dot this part of the forgotten West Coast, where a visitor is greeted with silence, the space to explore, and where time slows inexplicably.

The house is very clean andeverything is accessible and also caters for the disabled person. Thesurrounding areas is also quite and I also had time to visit where they dobokkom as it is only a walking distance and you can also go on boat trips. Onour way home, the visibility of the pelicans on the dams was also nice to watch</span></p>"

    "What a great stay at "Die Opstal" everything was exceptionally clean and organised. The living area is huge and comfortable. As for the kitchen and wash-up area extremely organised as everything that you could possible require was available.The bedroom is very big with a wonderful walk-in cupboard leading to the bathroom.All necessary information regards Velddrif and surrounding areas at hand making live so easy to plan your trip from here.The owner actually put me onto an old friend of mine I have not seen for 38 years. What a lovely evening we spent together.Baie dankie dit was 'n wonderlike and en sal "Die Opstal" hoog aanbeveel aan al ons vriende asook kennisse."

    "We had a very short 2 nights but wonderful stay at Die Opstal. The house is beautiful and has everything you would need while away from home. Delene is a gem and a great host. It's the perfect venue for family gatherings or just a quick trip away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We'll definitely be back!"
