"We enjoyed the privacy at Plumpudding on 3rd and the peace and quietness within the property and surrounding area, the public transport was just a few meters from the property, it was not a hustle at all. The shops are just close by should you need to buy anything, the staff was friendly and they made our stay a pleasant one, the only major concern though was that we requested an Elephant suite and that was what we thought we were getting but on arrival we were given a different suite altogether with no resemblance whatsoever to the description of the Elephant suite and despite travelling with my partner we ended up using two single beds pushed together which was quite frustrating really"
"Enjoyed my stay for a week. Friendly staff and safe property in a great location"
"Spent some time at Plumpudding's Westdene location (flat no. 9) and it was a very pleasant stay. Clean flat, great service and everything in working order. We had a problem with the hot water on the first day, but it was fixed in 30 minutes, and worked perfectly the rest of our stay. There were two heaters in the flat and electric blankets on the beds, but if you get cold easily, bring some slippers and a warm fleece and you'll be fine. Only 10-15 minutes from Johannesburg city center and lots of supermarkets close by. A great spot. Security wise, in case you care, typical high wall fenced South African suburban home in a quiet street. We didn't experience anything bad during our stay there (family of three from Copenhagen, DK). Recommended."
