La Bamba
La Bamba is a three-bedroom holiday home with a magnificent sea view. Two of the bedrooms are located upstairs, one with an en-suite and the second with a separate bathroom. The third bedroom is downstairs and has an en-suite. The open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area leads onto a balcony with great sea views.
There are two braai areas, one with a view of the ocean, and the lounge features a CD player, DVD and DStv. An additional sleeper couch is also available in the downstairs lounge.
The house is within walking to the beach and Kingfisher Trail on the lagoon, and is close to surrounding restaurants and convenient stores. A washing machine is available on the premises and bath towels are supplied, however guests are required to bring their own beach towels.

23 January 2017"La Bamba has potential of becoming a very nice holiday destination, however, maintenance has fallen on the wayside. The house had an overwhelming musty smell.The bath towels were also damp and left on the patio chairs for drying, not at all ideal knowing that you have patrons booked in. The DSTV did not work, the owner provide credentials for DSTV now, but it is not ideal for more than one person to be watching movies on a mobile device. The braai-stands did not have grids. The cupboards contained clothes and shoes. The over-all upkeep of the place was lacking. The staircase leading to the house had a broken stair at the top. the toilet in the main bedroom was broken. This put a damper on our holiday as we spent the first night and the next day looking for alternate accommodation for our holiday. The owner did refund our money for the rest of days as we left very early the following morning. This really put a damper on our holiday!"
