Loerie's View
Loeries View is a self-catering holiday house situated in the beautiful and peaceful town of Wilderness. The establishment is named after the famous Knysna Loerie, which is normally very elusive and difficult to spot in its natural habitat. However the Knysna Loerie can be regularly seen in the indigenous bush surrounding the house, which is a special sight and a unique feature.
The name also emphasises the breathtaking sea and mountain views which can be appreciated from every room in the house as well as from all the outside decks. The house is renowned for its warm and homely atmosphere, created not only by the stylish and tasteful interior, but also by the tranquil environment. It's perfect for a romantic getaway or simply just a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We are within walking distance of the swimming beach, lagoon, wellness centre and spa as well as the Wilderness village where youll find a vast variety of shops and quality restaurants to enjoy. You can also admire the magnificent sunsets and natural splendour from the comfort of your own private deck.
Loeries View is centrally located and ideal to explore all the fabulous attractions and many sporting activities the Garden Route has to offer. 29 June 2017"We had an amazing time at Loerie's View. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need and even more. The braais on the deck with the wonderful view was lovely. We also loved feeding the different bird species. Although it was winter, the heaters kept us warm. I will highly recommend it to anyone! We will be back soon!"

09 July 2016"We are a family of 4 (2 children aged 8 and 5) and we stayed at Loerie's View for 2 weeks. It was amazing! The view is exactly like the photos promise. The house is extremely neat and tidy, with large bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms. It is very well equipped (there is even a high-chair for babies) and close to the beach and shops. It is located in a very quiet area and all you can hear is the sea and the birds.<div>I would not hesitate to recommend Loerie's View and I am already planning our next holiday there.</div><div><br /></div>"

Regrettably because we should have booked for a longer period at the wonderful, reasonably priced accommodation with all the amenities to make this a home away from home. Within easy walking distance to beach and village. Comes highly recommended, and will book for a longer period next year."

26 November 2015"Our stay at Loerie's View was exceptional. The property is ideal for access to Garden Route activities and the house is perfect with all amenities and decks off both rooms. It was an added treat to see the Loeries visit although you need to bribe them with bananas if you want them to visit frequently. I would recommend staying here to anyone who likes to self cater.<br />"

The accommodation has all the necessary amenities including washing machine, tumble drier and DSTV with all the movie and sports channels. Also super value for money. I really liked the laid back atmosphere of Wilderness as well, all in all, highly recommended"

16 January 2013"A perfect house for a relaxing family beach holiday. The house is well maintained, clean and very well equipped. Location is excellent, close to shops, restaurants and beach but far enough away to enjoy some peace. The views are lovely from all 3 terraces. It´s quiet and allows a degree of privacy. The owners really have provided everything you might need to enjoy your stay including swimming towels, cool bag, umbrellas and beach chairs. The beds are comfortable, linen fresh, wardrobes are huge with lots of hangers. We really enjoyed it here. Booking was easy and good communication with owners/managers at all times. Thank you!"

14 April 2010"We, family of 5 with three children (ages 9, 7 and 4) rented the home- I do not want to call it a house as it is so much more... for 8 days and we experienced it as the ideal setting to stay or just use as a base from where you can explore the garden route. The beach was so close and we had frequent walks to the village a few hundred meters away. Picture a 2 bedroom hotel suite, views galore, with the privacy of a home, self catering and a quite walk to all amenities...even a pool a few meters away with security cameras (not that you need this), three decks to enjoy sun-downers or barbeque. This is Loerie's View. We also found the unit affordable and value for money. I can only recommend this holiday home to everyone as it is so multi-functional."

The 2 en suite bedrooms with private balconies are stunning and the facilities and items in the house are all brand new and in excellent condition. The location is fantastic, only minutes to the beach and our stay there was almost luxurious. We would easily go there again and recommend to all our friends."
