Tobies Nest
Tobies Nest is a lovely apartment sleeping three guests and situated in Witsand. The peaceful coastal town lies on St. Sebastians Bay, just off the N2 on the Cape South Coast and three hours from Cape Town. This bay is the most important nursery for some of the greatest concentrations of southern right whales to come and calve.
The apartment consists of one bedroom with a double bed, an en-suite bathroom, a lounge area with a single bed, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, built-in cupboards and full DStv. There is a courtyard with a built-in braai for some real South African cuisine.
Witsands is where the Breede River flows into the Indian Ocean, creating a river estuary of note that provides safe swimming, windsurfing, rock and surf angling, deep sea fishing, snorkelling, spear fishing and 4 km of long, unspoilt beach with white bleached sand. The sand is this white because the town lies above a body of underground water responsible for leaking the red iron oxide coating from the sand on Witsands Beach.

26 November 2016"We were given Seagull instead of Tobies which really wasn't an issue, very neat and tidy, only reason for the 4 instead of 5 star was the fact that the fridge was not working, luckily the freezer was so it also wasn't an issue<br/><br/>Quite comfortable for it's size, close to the beach and a really pleasant ambiance, would I return and/or recomend iot to any of my friends n family....most definitely"

13 October 2014"We found this to be a very very nice stay, and hosts to be very very accommodating. Would be a good Idea to enclose the first braai area to protect people from the wind a bit, our neighbors were kind enough to let as use theirs instead."
