  "Die vriendelikheid van ons gasvrou en familie was fantasties. Ons het aangekom as vreemdelinge, en het werklik vertrek as vriende. Ek sal enige tyd Vinknessie aanbeveel as die plek om te bly in Witsand. Ons sien julle weer volgende jaar. Bitter baie dankie."

  "washing machine was a great plus after 2 weeks of holiday. the hosts were very willing to assist in any way needed. the semi-enclosed braai area was very useful on windy days"

  "Vinknessie is n baie netjiese plekkie om heen te gaan. Sal nooit se dit is petfriendly nie so skoon en lekker het dit geruik. Dit is die eerste plek wat ons in gebly het wat regtig alles in het. Die mense het aan als gedink om dit so gemaklik vir n mens te maak. Die eienaars is baie vrienlik en ook hulpvaardof. Kan enige een aanbeveel om daar oor te bly prys ook bullek"

  "The unit was perfect clean and absolutely well stocked with any utensil you require for a self catering stay. Marina and Gerard where very friendly and always inquiring if we where happy and if we would need anything please just to ask. We will definitely be back."

  "We were quite disappointed by this accommodation. There was not any linen provided and the linen that was available was not clean. We were told we should have brought our own, but this was not mentioned anywhere on the booking (only towels). The blankets were also full of dog hair. Being a pet-friendly establishment does not mean that the place should be a kennel, in fact it should be kept cleaner than ever. Other than that it isa nice place and affordable, butnot sure about it being a2 star.<div><br /></div><div><strong><em>Establishment's response:</em></strong></div><div><div><em>Dear Mr Taylor</em></div><div><em>I am speechless and astound by your review regarding Vinknessie.</em></div><div><em>No linen Sir, when guests leave, I collect all the bedding (mattressprotector, fitted sheet, comforter, pillow protector, pillowcases and blankets). It then gets washed and I iron them. Bedding is placed on the beds on the day that guests arrive to keep it fresh.</em></div><div><em>Kennel I make sure that the place is hair free and disinfected as far as possible, especially because it is pet friendly.</em></div><div><em>I must say, as mentioned before, I am surprised by your experience. I am proud of my accommodation at Vinknessie. It is clean and fully equipped. Guests only have to bring their own food and towels as stated.</em></div></div>"

  "We had a lovely four nights at Vinknessie. It was neat, tidy and clean and just the right size for myself and two friends to reload our batteries and catch up. Even the weather played along nicely, with as little wind as one can expect in Witsand. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape to the quiet little town of Witsand."

  "We had a lovely stay, regret that it rained the whole few days that we were there.The bathroom were too small. No bath, only shower, but so tiny. My husband is tall, so he really struggled to get in the shower. Very friendly owners."

  "It is really nice cottage, but is very small for 2 adults and 2 kids, let alone 5 adults. The bathroom and kitchen are minute. If you are planning to be out and about a lot, then it will be great."
