Oasis Guesthouse

The town of Wolmaransstad is the start of the famous Diamond Route and serves a large community. Its farming and prospecting community form part of the area where the highest concentration of earth-moving equipment in the world can be found.The house is in a quiet area in Wolmaransstad. The bed and breakfast has four rooms; two of our rooms are attached to the main house and the second two rooms are separate from the house. We can sleep a total of 14 people. Two of our rooms have fridges and all rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities and televisions with DStv (easy view package) There is a large swimming pool and a large lapa with a braai facility. We offer safe parking on the premises. Breakfast optional at R75.00 per person. We are also pet friendly, and allow small to medium pets.Attractions include the Digger's Diamond Tour; an interesting tour giving visitors the opportunity to relive the beginnings of the area's diamond mining era. Broadbent Mission Station dates back to the first missionary outreaches in the area. Makwassierante Conservation Area which hosts a number of games species. Wolwespruit Dam Nature Reserve is situated south of Leeudoringstad on the banks of the Vaal river; this small reserve conserves riverine vegetation.

"We are not people that think we are better than others. And we are defenitelly not people who like to complain. But this was really a Bad experience. The room was dirty. Against the walls was spider webs. The window pain was full off dust and very dirty. The duvets was dirty food marks was on them. The room was smelling Bad.Then the Beds matresses was so Bad you keep rolling to the middle.Even the Beds for the kids. Then the DSTV only have SABC 1 2and 3 One movie channel and that is it. The swimming pool is very bad. No water in it. I just think if you advertise that these things are there it must be there Because we Paid for it. The places where my friends stayed was very nice for the same amount of money. I hope Safari Now will send someone to have a look at this place. We will defenitelly never go back. Sorry. I do have pictures of all of the complaints Above if youwant to see them."

"I was first appalled by the street leading to the Band B after a breakdown with a car I was looking forward to a good night sleep, to my surprise the facility was infested with ants and I could not sleep throughout the night. the house did not look lived in for months and no effort was made to prepare it for guests.the door of the room we slept in did not lock and that made us feel unsafe the whole night as we were the only two people occupying the house and we were both female. there was a tenant in the next room and the noise that came from his visitors who were obviously enjoying themselves made us feel uncomfortable. no one should be allowed to stay in that house unless major renovations are done, I would never have slept there even if it was for free. I did not give it a star rating as it does not deserve one"
